Robotic cells and automation

Eitan Automation designs and builds robotic cells and automation stations for manufacturers in Israel. Engineering, tooling, programming and support are all based in Rosh Ha'ayin.

What we do

Nine areas of work, from cell design to operator training

Every project starts with a survey of the existing process. The robot, tooling and infeed are chosen from the survey measurements.

  1. 01 Turnkey robotic cellsLayout, robot selection, end-of-arm tooling, infeed, guarding and safety logic, controls and programming. The system is delivered installed, documented and running.
  2. 02 Machine tendingLoading and unloading machining centres, lathes, injection presses and grinders, with part storage for hours of running, chip clearing and in-cell inspection.
  3. 03 Pick and place, sortingMoving parts between stations, tray and carton loading, and sorting by product or by pass and fail. Cycle time depends mainly on the tooling and the infeed.
  4. 04 Grippers and toolingVacuum, mechanical, magnetic or quick-change multi-product tools, designed around your part's geometry and weight, including wear and maintenance.
  5. 05 Vision and quality controlPart location, presence and dimensional checks, code reading for traceability, and rejecting defects before packing. Every reject is stored with an image.
  6. 06 Collaborative robotsSmall footprint, measured investment, short installation. Suited to a single station as a first step, with room to expand later.
  7. 07 Line retrofitAdding a station to a running line, replacing an out-of-support controller, or clearing a single bottleneck. Short projects with a fast return.
  8. 08 Controls, PLC and HMIDocumented machine logic, a readable operator interface, and safety logic written alongside the design. Source code is handed over on completion.
  9. 09 Operator trainingTraining for operators and maintenance staff on routine work: product changes, point recovery and basic servicing.

How we work

One team from survey to support

  1. 01

    Site survey

We visit the plant and measure the process before writing a proposal.

  2. 02

    Vendor-independent

We do not represent a robot maker. The arm is chosen for the application.

  3. 03

    Own tooling design

End-of-arm tools are designed for your part's geometry and weight.

  4. 04

    One team

The same engineer handles the survey, design, installation and support.

  5. 05

    Engineered in Israel

Design, programming and support are based in Rosh Ha'ayin.

The process

Project stages

Project length depends on scope. The proposal includes a detailed schedule by these stages.

  1. Introductory call

A conversation about your product, your process and the problem you want to solve.

  2. On-site feasibility survey

A visit to measure the process while it runs: cycle times, free floor area, height, power and compressed air.

  3. Concept and specification

Cell layout, robot and tooling selection, fault behaviour and a first risk assessment, approved by you before any equipment is ordered.

  4. Design, build, programming

Manufacturing drawings, electrical design, procurement, assembly and programming. The system runs and is tested off the line.

  5. Installation and training

Installation, tie-in, safety checks, supervised production runs, and training for operators and maintenance staff.

  6. Ongoing support

Support after installation: product changes, new patterns and fault handling, by the team that designed the system.
